The Healey Education Foundation invests in the sustainability and growth of Catholic elementary and high schools.

The Healey Education Foundation invests in the sustainability and growth of Catholic elementary and high schools. We are helping schools help themselves.

Healey works directly with schools, diocesan leaders, and fellow philanthropists who share in our belief that Catholic education enriches students' lives and strengthens the communities in which they live. As an operational non-profit, we make grants and also provide resourceful strategies, training, and coaching to individual schools, archdioceses, and dioceses. Schools ready for change are implementing our unique approach to advancement focused on enrollment management, development, board governance, and communications.

In just over ten years since the founding of our Catholic School Development Program, more than 60 schools have embraced this innovative business model, based on best practices from independent schools and universities. Many have earned the status of Healey alumni schools and are continuing their track record of proven results as we expand the Foundation's work in other regions. During this same time, the Foundation has served as a benefactor of research into the challenges and unique needs of Catholic schools serving the urban poor.

Along with our strategic partners, we are building a community of practice around Catholic schools that are mission driven, financially sound, and organizationally sustainable.

Catholic schools are taking charge of their own futures, and they are succeeding.
